Biography
Ambereen M. Jan, MD, is a board-certified nephrologist. She earned her medical degree from Khyber Medical College; completed residency training in internal medicine at Episcopal Hospital; and specialized further by achieving a fellowship in nephrology at Temple University Hospital.
At Clinical Renal Associates, Dr. Jan provides comprehensive care for patients with kidney disease, with a strong focus on kidney diseases and hypertension. She serves as Chief of Medicine at Chester County Hospital and Paoli Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Jan’s care philosophy emphasizes empathy and ethical practice: “A compassionate approach to care grounded in ethical principles, where the patient’s unique needs are met through empathetic understanding.”
She is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Pushto and has received the Top Doctor Award for several consecutive years. Dr. Jan is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) and the PA Medical Society. Outside of medicine, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and traveling.
