Biography

Nathan Okechukwu, MD is a board-certified nephrologist and a certified clinical hypertension specialist. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nigeria and his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine in Enugu State, Nigeria. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and achieved a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Michigan Hospitals.

At Clinical Renal Associates, Dr. Okechukwu provides comprehensive care for patients with kidney disease across multiple locations, including Glen Mills, Healthplex, Riddle Pavilion, Ridley Park, and Upland. His clinical focus includes hypertension, kidney stones, lupus nephritis, and dialysis care. He also serves as Medical Director for DaVita Providence Square Home and Peritoneal Dialysis. 

Dr. Okechukwu is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Drexel University and an accomplished researcher. He has authored numerous academic publications, led multiple clinical trials, and presented at national medical conferences.
