Biography

Jennifer Patel, DO, MBA, is a board-certified nephrologist. She earned her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine; completed her residency training in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospitals; and specialized further by achieving her fellowship training in nephrology at Westchester Medical Center.

At Clinical Renal Associates’ Exton and Glenn Mills locations, Dr. Patel delivers patient-centered care that integrates clinical expertise with compassionate support. Her clinical interests include polycystic kidney disease and cardiorenal syndrome. 

Dr. Patel has published research on endothelial cell dysfunction in patients with ESRD, as well as on contrast-induced acute kidney injury. She serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology, at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Patel is also the medical director at DaVita West Philadelphia and DaVita Upper Darby.

Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) and the National Kidney Foundation (NKF).
