Biography
Marc J. Kim, MD is a board-certified nephrologist. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine; completed his residency in internal medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital; and went on to complete fellowship training in nephrology at the same institution.
At Clinical Renal Associates, Dr. Kim provides comprehensive care for patients with kidney disease, with clinical interests in chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, hyponatremia, and transplant-related conditions such as acute cellular rejection.
He has played a meaningful role in advancing access to cutting-edge therapies for patients by serving as a sub-investigator for Clinical Renal Associates’ clinical research program. In addition, Dr. Kim is an active member of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and the American Society of Nephrology (ASN).
Dr. Kim’s care philosophy centers on patient-first values: “To provide value-based patient care and have them always know that I am putting them first. Educating patients on their kidney problem(s) and helping them understand their therapeutic options.”
Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, spending time with family, and attending sporting events.
